An in-between existence

I am listening to a beautiful song titled "Flowers Will Bloom" sung by Hayley Westenra. The song is in Japanese and was composed as an inspiration in the aftermath of the Japanese tsunami disaster of 2011 and I do not know what it means, aside from the lyrics I have read. I feel so profoundly moved listening to it. A song can sometimes instill in us empathy so we can almost feel the joy and pain of others. I hope and pray that there be closure, comfort and serenity for the Japanese in these tough moments. I also want to fill myself with such inspirational things objective and nebulous which evoke a sense of connectivity with others so my spirit can transcend.
